In line with the motto “Don’t waste anything, reuse it”, SmaKi is a learning app that teaches children to sell their used items in a creative way and discover other used treasures with the credit they earn. At the SmaKi flea market, you extend the life cycle of your toys and consciously act sustainably. You understand the ecological benefits and learn that it doesn’t always have to be something new. And you parents? You can look forward to your children making responsible decisions for the environment and developing a sense of sustainability.
Smart with money
With SmaKi as an educational app, you kids will sharpen your understanding of the financial value of things and learn how to handle money cleverly and responsibly. By selling and buying your own things and using a digital wallet on your income and spendings, you will gain your first experience of budgeting. You will playfully learn to make smart decisions when buying and selling and to value your things. The best thing is that you parents retain full control while your children develop important financial skills – without any risk.
Surfing safely on the internet
With SmaKi, you children learn how to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. We show you what to look out for when surfing, using apps and social media. You will also learn how to protect your data and understand new digital trends such as artificial intelligence. And you parents? Your children will develop digital skills – and we’ll help them find a healthy balance and keep an eye on screen time. The flea market is only open at weekends, and new learning content is only available at the academy on Wednesdays. That leaves plenty of time for everything else!
Promote independence
By acting independently on the SmaKi learning app, you kids will gradually become more confident and independent – always at your own pace and accompanied by the SmaKis and your parents. You will learn to regularly clear out your things, organize your own sales and make smart decisions. Not only will you tidy up your room, but you’ll also earn pocket money to buy other second-hand items. And you parents? You can look forward to more free time – and your children will also help toreduce the amount you spend on new things .

You parents can sit back and relax, because SmaKi relies on the highest safety standards. All articles, communication and interactions are designed to be child-friendly and age-appropriate. Each user profile is verified by an identity procedure with ID check, and children’s profiles are anonymized. Every transaction is secure and you are in control at all times: from purchase and sale authorizations to spending limits and shipping and pick-up options. Transparency and data protection are top priorities at SmaKi!
