As parents, you can view every item in the SmaKi kids flea market with all the details from price and condition to collection and shipping, but you cannot negotiate, buy or sell anything. Only the children can do that.
You can approve your children's purchases if you have specified in the parental control that you want to approve each purchase.
And you can see all the important information for the approval decision: Item price, fees, shipping costs - and of course whether your child has enough balance.
You can also see who is selling the item and whether your child would like to collect the item or have it sent. You have the choice: approve or reject with reasons.

But don’t worry—the SmaKis are here to help you every step of the way, from choosing the best photos to writing a good description. And the best part? Your parents can choose whether they approve each listing first or let you manage on your own!
This is where the fun comes in! You children can not only buy and sell, but also negotiate properly. If you see that the price of an item is negotiable, you can make the seller child a price offer. Maybe you can get your desired item for even less! Remember: it always pays to be fair.
Ready to Discover New Treasures?
You kids can search for exciting, age-appropriate items at the SmaKi kids flea market and buy them directly. You parents have full control: you can decide whether you want to approve each purchase first or give your general consent. After a successful purchase, the purchase price is deducted from the balance in the SmaKi wallet - it's easy! And don't forget to leave a rating for the seller child after the purchase.
SmaKi protection fee
Safety is our top priority! When you kids buy and pay for an item at the SmaKi flea market, your money is first held in a secure SmaKi escrow account. As soon as you have confirmed receipt of the item, SmaKi transfers the amount directly to the seller child. If the item does not arrive or there is a problem, you can contact SmaKi support at any time. In this case, the money will remain with SmaKi until everything has been resolved.
A small nominal fee is charged so that this secure transaction is possible. This is calculated automatically when the item is listed and is included in the purchase price. But don't worry, the fee is really low - just €0.20 plus 2% of the item price. For example, this would be just €0.60 for a €20 item. This keeps trading safe, fair and, above all, fun!
Pick-Up or shipment?
You kids can list items either for shipping, collection or both. Your parents decide which option you can use. If, for example, you can only buy items for collection, the SmaKi kids flea market will show you suitable offers in your area. Please note: SmaKi does not accept cash payments - everything is secure and digital.
Prepare shipment
Don't panic when it comes to shipping - the SmaKis will help you! They'll show you how to choose the right parcel size and automatically add the shipping costs to the item price. You parents can check everything in the approval process. When the time comes, you can ask your parents to help you with packing, franking and sending - so you'll soon learn how to do it all yourself.
At the SmaKi online kids flea market, all deals are organized via a secure chat. The SmaKis help you buyer and seller children to plan the shipping or collection correctly. You can use ready-made text modules or write your own messages to clarify questions about shipping and collection. You parents decide whether you want to approve each incoming free text message in advance. You cannot chat, but you can read all chats via your parent account. So you are always on the safe side!

SmaKi relies on parental control!
Children from the age of seven are § 106 BGB limited legal capacity. This means that they may make declarations of intent (such as the purchase or sale of items), but only with your consent. consent as legal representatives, the transaction becomes legally effective (§ 107 and § 108 BGB). Therefore, the actual transactions on the SmaKi online children’s flea market are always legally between the parents.
When registering and creating a children’s account , you as parents give your consent for all your children’s activities . To make you feel safe, SmaKi offers comprehensive control functions. You determine how independently your children are allowed to act and can specify in the settings whether you want to approve purchases and sales in advance.
All transactions are processed securely via the children’s digital wallets. So everything remains secure, transparent and well protected!
